The Background Behind the Work
SHIFT is informed by more than 15 years of experience and thousands of hours helping clients create real internal change.
My background as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner shaped the way I understand patterns, pressure, identity, and the brain-body connection.
The neuroscience matters because lasting change requires more than insight. The brain can form new pathways, but those pathways are built through experience, not just understanding. This is why SHIFT works beneath the level of behavior, with the patterns held in the brain, body, and nervous system.
SHIFT is coaching, not therapy.
But the depth of this work is grounded in years of studying how people actually change.

WHY I DO THIS
I believe business can be one of the most honest mirrors we have.
Building my own business has shown me where money felt tied to safety. When revenue fluctuated, I could feel it in my body. My sleep, my steadiness, my sense of control. It asked me to look at what I was attaching to income, certainty, and success.
It also showed me where I had learned to give away my voice. I had to look at the places where I was shaping myself around what other people needed or expected, instead of building and speaking from what was actually true for me.
And I had to take an honest look at my desire to fix and helping people change. Underneath it was a pattern I needed to understand and resolve more deeply, so my work could come from purpose, not pressure.
That is why this work matters to me. Because the business is rarely just about the business.
It shows us where we trust ourselves, where we over-function, where we look for safety outside of ourselves, and what some of our motives are driving decisions.
When those patterns shift, the way we build changes.
